Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl into the world at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City late Saturday night.

According to the New York Daily News, Beyoncé checked into the hospital on Friday night under the name “Ingrid Jackson” and rented out the entire fourth floor.
Beyoncé had announced her pregnancy last August onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards. The baby's arrival is being widely hailed by the couple's famous friends. Rihanna sent out some love to the new baby via Twitter: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih”
